Our Founder's Story
Before starting Sauna Sanctum, I didn’t feel unhealthy, but I also didn’t feel well. I was always busy, always working, always pushing forward.
On the outside, everything looked fine. But underneath, I was constantly tired, mentally overloaded, and never fully recovered. Sleep was inconsistent. Stress stayed in my body longer than it should have. Even when I tried to slow down, it felt like my system never truly switched off.
Like many people, I wanted to feel better, but finding the time and space to properly recover felt almost impossible.
That changed when I started using sauna and hot/cold therapy.
The difference wasn’t dramatic overnight, but it was real. Over time, my energy stopped crashing. My mind felt clearer. Sleep became deeper. Tension that I’d been carrying for years slowly started to release. I felt more balanced, more focused, and more in control of my own wellbeing.

Sauna Sanctum was founded by Jamey Coert after years of balancing high-output work with poor recovery. Like many professionals, Jamey experienced chronic fatigue, mental overload, and inconsistent sleep before discovering the impact of sauna and contrast therapy on daily wellbeing. What began as a personal recovery practice evolved into a mission to make professional-grade wellness accessible at home.
