Saunasanctum.com is operated by Momentum Group LLC, a U.S.-registered limited liability company, doing business as Sauna Sanctum (“Sauna Sanctum,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Sauna Sanctum does not issue separate product warranties directly, but we assist customers with warranty-related questions and claim coordination when needed.
1. HUUM Warranty
Private use:
- Electrical heaters: 3 years
- Wood-burning heaters: 3 years
- Control units: 3 years
- Spare parts: 1 year
Commercial use:
- Electrical heaters: 1 year
- Wood-burning heaters: 1 year
- Control units: 1 year
- Spare parts: 1 year
For HUUM warranty purposes, commercial use may include use by a registered business entity, private use for commercial purposes, or private use exceeding 1,500 hours during a 12-month period.
Key requirements:
- Warranty applies only to new products sold directly by HUUM or its authorized dealers and resellers.
- Warranty period starts from the end user’s purchase date.
- Product must be installed, operated, and maintained according to HUUM manuals.
- Electrical products must be installed and connected by a licensed professional electrician.
- Proof of professional electrical installation may be required.
- Product must be complete as required by HUUM manuals.
- Product must be fully paid for by the end user.
- Warranty claims must be submitted without delay and no later than 30 days from discovery of the issue.
- Visible defects or damage must be reported with photos before installation.
Common exclusions:
- Heating elements of electric heaters
- HUUM accessories
- Wood-burning stove door glass
- Wood-burning stove ash grate
- Sauna stones
- Sensors for controllers
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic defects
- Damage from high heat and water exposure causing deformation or coating changes
- Insufficient ventilation, constant humidity, improper storage, unsuitable installation location, rusting, sooting, or discoloration
- Transport damage not caused by HUUM
- Improper storage
- Failure to follow HUUM installation, use, or maintenance instructions
- Incorrect product sizing or unsuitable product selection
- Accidents, extreme weather, power surges, fire, earthquake, overheating, overloading, or other acts of God
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Use of non-HUUM replacement parts
- Use of incompatible products
- Regular maintenance, cleaning, and periodic checkups
2. Harvia Warranty
Typical coverage — family/residential use:
- Sauna heaters, steam generators, heating products, and control units: 2 years
- Registered electric sauna heaters may qualify for 1 additional year
- Accessories: 2 years, excluding small item accessories such as pails, ladles, textiles, indicators, and sauna stones
Typical coverage — non-consumer or commercial use:
- Electrical heaters, steam generators, and control units: 2 years, excluding heating elements and parts/components subject to wear and tear
- Wood-burning heaters: 6 months
- Accessories: 1 year, excluding small item accessories such as pails, ladles, textiles, indicators, and sauna stones
- Spare parts: 1 year, excluding heating elements
- Heating elements, including spare part heating elements: 6 months
Key requirements:
- Warranty applies only to new products sold directly by Harvia or official dealers
- Warranty period starts from the original purchase date unless Harvia expressly agrees otherwise
- Electrical products must be installed and connected by an authorized professional electrician according to Harvia’s instructions and applicable regulations
- Products must be installed, used, and maintained according to Harvia’s installation and operating instructions
- Visible defects must be reported before installation
- Consumer defects must be reported within 2 months of discovery
- Non-consumer or commercial defects must be reported within 14 days of discovery
Common exclusions:
- Improper installation, use, or maintenance
- Incorrect product sizing or unsuitable product selection
- Accident, abnormal stress, non-intended use, or extraordinary conditions
- Transport or storage damage
- Use of sauna stones not recommended by Harvia
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Use of non-original Harvia spare parts
- Removed or damaged product identification or safety markings
- Wear-and-tear parts such as heating elements, timers, relays, light bulbs, and sauna stones unless separately covered
- Wood discoloration or damage caused by inadequate ventilation, unsuitable installation, or non-intended use
- Natural wood changes such as discoloration, pitch, cracking, shrinking, swelling, or similar natural material changes
3. SaunaLife Limited Warranty
Typical coverage:
- SaunaLife saunas: 2 years for residential applications after delivery
- SaunaLife barrel showers: 2 years for residential applications after delivery
- SaunaLife immersion tubs: 2 years for residential applications after delivery
Coverage applies only to the original retail consumer purchaser when the product is purchased from an authorized SaunaLife reseller.
Warranty coverage: SaunaLife warrants that its products will be free from defects in workmanship under normal conditions of use and service for 2 years after delivery to the original retail purchaser. The warranty is limited to factory-assembled components that SaunaLife determines to be defective in workmanship.
Warranty performance:
- SaunaLife may choose, at its option, to repair the issue or replace the defective part.
- SaunaLife may substitute a part or component of equivalent value, either new or factory reconditioned.
- Any repaired or replaced part continues only for the remaining portion of the original product warranty.
- If SaunaLife chooses to repair a covered defect, a return authorization will be issued.
- The defective component must be returned prepaid freight to SaunaLife for repair.
- SaunaLife will ship the repaired component back to the original retail purchaser after repair is completed.
- SaunaLife may require photos of the defect.
- SaunaLife reserves the right to inspect, or designate an agent to inspect, any part claimed to be defective.
Key requirements:
- Product must be purchased from an authorized SaunaLife reseller.
- Warranty applies only to the original retail consumer purchaser.
- Product must be used under normal residential conditions.
- Return authorization is required before any warranty return.
- Customer must follow SaunaLife packaging and shipping instructions before returning any component.
- Photos of the defect may be required.
- Inspection may be required before approval.
Common exclusions:
- Normal material wear
- User damage
- Natural weathering of lumber
- Installation of components
- Delivery of components
- Labor charges
- Removal costs
- Installation costs
- Replacement labor or related expenses
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic issues
- Natural aging or weathering of individual lumber pieces
- Sauna heaters
- Added components
- Shipping or packaging costs
- Applicable taxes
- Disassembly, removal, or reinstallation costs
- Loss of use
- Incidental or consequential costs or damages
Acts that void the warranty:
- Alteration of the product
- Misuse or abuse
- Commercial use
- Repairs attempted by anyone other than an authorized SaunaLife representative
- Deviation from original assembly instructions
- Component changes
- Addition of non-approved devices or heating systems
- Use of the product in an application for which it was not designed
- Operation above safe operating temperatures
- Damage caused by added components
- Damage caused by harsh chemicals
- Damage caused by movement of the product
- Damage caused by acts of God
Wood material disclaimer: The warranty does not cover naturally occurring or expected characteristics of wood materials, including:
- Differences in wood grain
- Knots
- Slight variations in tone
- Shrinkage or expansion due to temperature and humidity
- Moderate deformation
- Visual changes caused by natural wood behavior during use
Important note: Defects, including transport damage, that would have been detectable by visual inspection before installation are not covered by the SaunaLife warranty.
4. Finnmark Designs Warranty
Indoor residential warranty duration:
- Sauna cabin, all wood: 10 years
- Controls and power supply: 10 years
- Spectrum Plus™ heaters: lifetime
- Spectrum Carbon heaters: 10 years
- LED lighting: 10 years
- Remotes: 1 year
- Optional cushion: 1 year
- Optional outdoor cover: 10 years
- Non-factory installed components: no coverage
Outdoor residential warranty duration:
- Sauna cabin, all wood: 5 years
- Controls and power supply: 5 years
- Spectrum Plus™ heaters: lifetime
- Spectrum Carbon heaters: 10 years
- LED lighting: 10 years
- Remotes: 1 year
- Optional cushion: 1 year
- Optional outdoor cover: 10 years
- Non-factory installed components: no coverage
Commercial warranty duration:
- Sauna cabin, all wood: 5 years
- Controls and power supply: 5 years
- Spectrum Plus™ heaters: lifetime

Key requirements:
- Warranty applies to the original purchaser.
- Sauna must be installed according to Finnmark Designs installation instructions.
- Sauna must be properly and reasonably maintained.
- Product must not be damaged, misused, or abused.
- Warranty may be changed on the quote or invoice.
Common exclusions:
- Non-factory installed components
- Damage
- Misuse
- Abuse
- Improper installation
- Improper or unreasonable maintenance
- Any coverage changes stated on the quote or invoice
5. Kohler Sauna Warranty
Typical coverage:
- KOHLER® sauna units: 5 years
- KOHLER® sauna accessories included with the sauna or purchased separately: 1 year
Coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship during normal residential use. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase or the date of delivery, whichever is later, and applies as long as the original purchaser owns the product.
Key requirements:
- Warranty applies to KOHLER® sauna products purchased and installed in the United States or Canada.
- Warranty applies only during normal residential use.
- Warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
- Proof of purchase, such as the original sales receipt, is required for warranty claims.
- Customers must provide relevant claim details, including product information, model number, color, finish, purchase date, place of purchase, and a full description of the issue.
- Kohler may repair or replace the defective product at its discretion after inspection.
Important limitation:
- Warranty is void if the sauna is installed in a commercial application.

Warranty claim note: Kohler Co. is not responsible for removal, installation, labor charges, or other incidental or consequential costs. Kohler’s liability will not exceed the purchase price of the product.
6. Saunum Air Series Warranty
Private residential use warranty duration:
- Saunum sauna climate device: 2 years from the date of purchase
Key requirements:
- Warranty is valid only if a completed installation report is submitted with the claim.
- Device must be connected to the power network by a qualified electrician according to applicable regulations.
- Warranty applies to defects in materials or assembly during the warranty period.
- Saunum may decide whether to repair or replace the defective device or defective part.
- Repairs must be handled by Saunum’s recommended repair partner or maintenance partner.
Common exclusions:
- Routine maintenance and cleaning
- Replacement of components due to normal wear and tear
- Adaptation or modification of the device for purposes other than those stated in the instructions
- Transport-related risks
- Misuse of the device
- Improper installation
- Repairs not carried out by Saunum’s recommended repair partner
- Accidents, lightning, water, fire, improper ventilation, or other factors beyond Saunum’s control
- Breakages caused by stones or salt balls not recommended by Saunum
- Heating elements
- Salt balls
- Labor costs
7. Genevas Modular Saunas Warranty
Typical coverage:
- Genevas modular sauna units: 2 years from the date of delivery
Coverage applies to manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Covered components may include:
- Structural integrity of CLT panels
- Sauna benches and seating made from Thermoalder
- Heater
- Shower set
- Boiler
- Ventilation system
- Electrical systems
- Dimmable LED lighting
- Shower trays
- Integrated water systems
Warranty remedies: If a defect covered by the warranty occurs during the warranty period, Genevas may, at its discretion:
- Repair the affected component or unit
- Replace the affected component or unit
- Refund the affected component or unit
Warranty claim requirements:
- Customer must notify Genevas in writing within 30 days of discovering the defect.
- Customer must provide photographs and a detailed description of the issue.
- Repair work must be carried out by Genevas or an authorized partner unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Shipping and labor cost coverage:
- First 12 months from delivery: approved shipping and labor costs are covered in full.
- Months 13–24 from delivery: Genevas will provide replacement parts or components free of charge, but shipping and labor costs may apply.
Common exclusions:
- Damage caused by improper installation
- Normal wear and tear
- Minor wood warping
- Minor wood cracks
- Wood discoloration
- Damage caused by neglect
- Misuse
- Improper maintenance
- Environmental impact
- Storm damage
- Flood damage
- Damage caused by snow load exceeding limits
- Modifications or repairs not authorized by Genevas
- Third-party products added after delivery
Transferability: This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and the original installation site of the sauna.
Limitation of liability: Genevas is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. Total liability under the warranty will not exceed the original purchase price of the sauna.
8. Vital Red Light Warranty
Typical coverage:
- Vital Red Light devices purchased after April 1, 2025: 3-year base warranty
- Vital Red Light devices purchased before April 1, 2025: 2-year warranty
Warranty coverage: Vital Red Light’s warranty covers manufacturing defects and product malfunctions that occur under normal use. If a device stops working due to a defect in materials or workmanship, Vital Red Light may repair or replace the device at no cost to the customer, subject to the brand’s warranty terms.
Common exclusions:
- Accidental damage
- Misuse
- Neglect
- Unauthorized modifications
- Unauthorized repairs
- Cosmetic wear and tear that does not affect functionality
- Damage from improper use
- Damage caused by using non-approved power sources
Important note: Warranty coverage applies to eligible device defects and malfunctions under normal use. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper handling, unauthorized repair, or external causes.
